How the at-cost model works
- You subscribe for $14.90 or $49.90/mo (plus local VAT, collected by Stripe Tax).
- Your monthly allowance is that exact amount of real provider API cost.
- Each managed generation reserves an estimated cost; we settle the actual cost when it completes, refund on failure.
- You see spent / held / remaining live in the editor and on your dashboard.
- When it is used up, switch to local or BYOK (both free) or wait for next month. No charges past the cap.
Routing you control
Every generation carries an explicit routing intent — two of the three are free:
- local — your GPU, free, never silently upgraded to cloud.
- byok — your own provider key, free from Hexaliz, billed by the provider.
- managed_cloud — Hexaliz proxy, drawn from your subscription allowance.
